Brandon Dubinsky, Michael Rozival & Evgeny Grachev plus our 10th. overall pick & our 2nd. round pick would go to Boston we would get Marc Savard, Dennis Wideman & the 2nd. overall selection in this years draft.

no thanks keep dubinsky ... how about girardi instead of dubinsky rangers dont have a physical top 6 forward. i guess most fans love the rangers to be small and soft

Boston says "**** no" then, "I want to smoke what you're smoking".

first off take rozi out. he will be no part of no deal other than a salary dump/switch.

that being said, it's not enough to get the 2nd overall pick itself let alone savard and wideman. would be able to definetely get savard on its own though it would be overpayment on our part.

everyone needs to realize that in order to obtain the 2nd overall pick we would have to give, as was quoted in another thread, a kings' ransom. something along the lines of grachev, kreider, dubi, this years 1st and 2nd round, along with next years 1st rounder. in other words, completely not worth it.

Not even close value wise. It would cost the Rangers too much to move up. Would have to start with one of MDZ/Staal, one of Dubinsky/Callahan, and the 10th overall pick. And that's just for the 2nd overall pick.

Not to mention the Bruins just re-signed Seidenberg long-term. Don't see them re-signing him then dealing him less then a month later.

No.

I can guarantee you that any trade talks involving the Rangers and Boston has Chiarelli asking for Kreider

I wouldnt say that.

Dubinsky: 233 GP 47 Goals 78 Assists 125 Points.
Savard: 225 GP 68 Goals 128 Assists 196 Points

I didnt count both players first seasons. Savard has more goals and assist in less games.

I think he was talking about Savard as a Ranger only, and he had 51 points in 98 games.

How about Kreider and the 10th overall pick for the 2nd overall pick and the rights to Blake Wheeler

Wheeler's going to be available anyway.

Boston is in the driver's seat. They can literally get two top-10 picks and still keep their own 2nd rounder.

If Boston wants our 10th, I want their 15th and 32, but that's probably too high a price to move up 5 spots in a deep draft.

i don't think so. if boston really wants that player at 10 and they know whoever is at 11 will take him then the rangers are in the driver's seat there.

i want tarasenko. if he's there though he might slip another few picks and the rangers could trade slightly down while getting another 3rd or late 2nd. if however, nino's there i wouldn't trade down i'd pick him right there and then, and if tarasenko's there 10 picks later i'd trade up to pick him too.

Lets say we had done the whole tank thing and ended up with the 3rd overall pick in the draft.

If we offered that pick along with Sangs, Callahan, Gilroy and a 2nd (2011)

for

the 2nd overall pick and Wheeler

Boston would still probably decline. Thats how far off this proposal is.

I can't get enough of this post. Its 3 in the morning, im dead tired and this is my third response to it...

I love how its listed as Wheeler before the 2nd pick.

lets trade for a 4th rounder and stamkos while we're at it.
