I agree, we are bound to get jobbed again. I was kind of surprised they didn't find something to disallow that winning goal

That said and FIFA's gross incompetence aside, I've been really impressed with our side. They're proving that the Confederations Cup was no fluke. Constant attacking soccer with one golden scoring chance after the next. I honestly think the USA plays one of the most entertaining styles in the entire world now and they would've piled up the goals if not for posts/refs. In fact I just realized something: I don't enjoy watching any non-Americas team play so far this World Cup. I'm pretty happy Mexico advanced as well.

Well that was exciting.

This tennis match is insane....

Isner vs Mahut, 8 hours and 3-4 minutes long so far.

5th set, Isner leading 44-43. Isner with 85 aces. Unreal. Longest match ever in tennis history.

Happy to agree.

Euro '08 was incredibly better than WC '10, so far at least. Though the American matches have been awesome to watch.

That seems about the normal perceived length of all tennis matches to me.

Isner up 54-53, well over the 9 hour mark now.

Isner keeps going up by one, then Mahut storms back to tie.

Not long before this one's caled due to darkness as well.

Good news, I finally have TV and internet at my new place. Woot. Just in time to watch the US/Ghana game (not that it's been extremely enjoyable thus far).

I hate Ricardo Clark. How is he on the United States national team much less starting or playing in games at all? Frankly I can't believe he ever made a MLS side.

What's the difference between a tea bag and Italy's soccer team?

A tea bag stays in the cup longer.

(I've got an Italian background so their loss definitely stung, but I couldn't help but laugh when I heard this one )

I just don't understand how Feilhaber doesn't make the starting 11. It makes no sense to me what so ever.

Agreed, Feilhaber is awesome. Bradley (the player) has looked a little off today. Can't finish that chance.

Maybe if he can stay on his own two feet he'll have a better chance at scoring....goes down way too easily, from what I've seen.

He's not as bad as Dempsey, who acts like he is shot after every challenge.

Sup boss

Tough USA loss but you and the HFboards chat helped excite me about the WC, I got to admit, before the WC I didn't have any interest in watching any of the games
