I think that Morozov's success this year in Russia -- especially considering his success relative to how others on his team and in the league, ie Kovalchuk, Kovalev, etc. -- has been one of the brightest spots for the Pens this year. He was only getting better and better, and getting closer to putting his game altogether. Hopefully this is the final step, or at least one step closer, to Morozov realizing his potential.
Another one of the biggest positives that I think many people overlook is the health of Michal Rozsival after it seemed his career might have been in question with the two knee injuries/surgeries. Of course, it remains to be seen how he recovers from missing so much time in the NHL, but this guy is still has his best years ahead of him (theoretically speaking) and was on the way to becoming a legitimate top-3 dman on the Pens in his last full season.
