It's a good gig, so Biron would be wise to take it. The guy who is supposed to back up or split time with Price usually wins the job outright, so.

Biron just needs to prepare to back his bags if he plays too well.

I would predict a Theodore return in Montreal at this point... 2 years, 1.5 million?

ya, I mean, who wants a player that just lead the Playoffs in points and has the most playoff points since the lockout?

So true. If he wants to stay, he better sucks. Management can't tolerate that Price be overshadowed.

Works for me. Biron has shown he can shoulder the load when needed.

It works. An experienced, 1A type goalie who can play 40games, but would play 20 under Price.

It is just speculating, probably the whole French connection thing.

Discuss.
Shouldn't it say Price to back up Biron.

Difference is that Gomez has actually won a Stanley Cup in his career (two, actually).

Well, Biron isn't signed yet.

Nitty, hedberg, Biron are my choices. In that order.

This is going to be the big speculation over the next week. Who will serve as Price's "veteran backup" in Montreal. I wouldn't be surprised to see Theodore back in a Habs jersey. I also wouldn't be surprised to see Lalime in a backup role. Lalime is the most affordable and has a history with the coach...

[edit]

btw, I see Biron and Ellis in San Jose.
