Think i would rather keep the pick. Unless Magnus Pääjärvi-Svensson is on the table of course, but that wont ever happen.

I really don't understand why he'd be shopping the pick, unless its for more picks. It was already an expensive pick at the cost of Horton. So if we trade it, it better net a Horton-like return that we were expecting.

Yeah, makes sense.

Lazy? So he's a less skilled Horton who goes to the net

Here's hoping they're shopping it in efforts to move up. I know that's not what's implied, but maybe Dreger's sources mixed up what they've heard.

Probably just throwing it out there to see what he can get. He has been quoted as seeing whats out there or "kicking the tires."

If it's for Versteeg, I'm happy.
Otherwise, I'd rather save it.

I hope so. People are speculating on the trade board that it would involve Penner. I would throw up if that happened.

I don't know if I would be against that. If we traded the #15 and Reino for Penner, we get a pretty decent forward who fits the mold of a Tallon player who has the ability if he wants to to produce some goals. We seem to be keeping Vokoun so Tallon wants to be competitive next season. Throw in Veersteeg to the mix. That's a decent top 6 with no center, lol.

Yeah I guess. It just depends on whether or not he decides to be lazy. There's no question about it that we need a big body like his in front of the net.

Yep 1.00 AM, and yep I'll sure be watching it.
Sucks that it's Sweden's biggest holiday tommorow aswell. Everyone will be out partying and I'll be watching the draft.

As would I. The only things I'd want from the Oilers they won't be willing to trade. We aren't good trading partners.

Yeah, what do you think about Riberio? Physically, he is everything we don't need but there is no denying his skill.

The Oilers have plenty of pieces I'd want, whether or not they'd give it up is another story. But Cogliano, Brule, Penner, Hemsky are all forwards I wouldn't mind seeing here. Depending on the cost of course.

I think Ribeiro's skill set is great. He'd definitely become our #1 center. He's more of a playmaker that would help our PP and create more ice for the rest of our team. His diving is kind of annoying but I wouldn't be opposed to him coming here.

What do you think about him?

Those are all things I don't want. Hemsky would cost too much, Penner is lazy. Brule and Cogliano just aren't very good, we have plenty of our own guys that do what they do.

1st overall, Gagner, MSP, Eberle are things that i'd want, but there is no way they trade them. We are both rebuilding, we both need young players, prospects and picks. Terrible trading partners.

Basically the same. He would really improve our powerplay which I'm obsessed with fixing. Not sure he is what Tallon is looking for. Hopefully he gets Spezza.
