What, to us? Never going to happen unless these GMs all had holes drilled in their noggins before the draft.
B's take Seguin. No surprises so far.

Seguin goes second to Boston...Burke with a wry smile across his face as the camera goes to the Toronto table...

Surprised to hear Bettman pretty much limit the Oilers to "Taylor or Tyler"...
Thats what I was thinking.Even though everyone new those two would be the first two selections, the commish shouldn't call names.

Would love to snag Grabner from Florida if they're interested in flipping him...

Think he regrets that deal?
Cats take Gudbranson. These three defenders aren't interchangeable in terms of style of play, but they are interchangeable in terms of overall quality.

This is a pretty big reach, IMO. He should turn out just fine, but they could have traded down at least a couple of spots and probably still picked him up.

Reports are that we tried and tried and tried and couldn't get it to work out - that's evidently part of why Howson spent five minutes standing on the stage waiting.
I'm kind of "WTF" at the moment.

Thanks, Howson, for cleaning up MacLean's toxic waste. Welcome, Kekalainen; let's get good things built!

Bwuh-bwuh-BWHAT?
This draft has devolved into a massive CF. Fowler could fall out of the top ten at this rate...

Connolly sure looks and sounds "ecstatic."
I don't understand why these guys don't smile more.

Who knew Skinner was a figure skater? He'd be a great fit in San Jose.

At this rate I'm getting a bit afraid that there will only be defensemen left when we pick...
Skinner to Carolina...interesting...

If Connolly heals ... watch out. Ranked #3 in the CSS final rankings even with only 16 gp

Shocked Fowler hasn't went. That kid was a beast at the WJC.

I was hoping to trade up to 7 to 10 to get him but, I have to say, he walked like a grandpa getting up to the stage. Yikes!

I GM'd for Carolina in the Mod's mock draft last month...as I expected...they're pretty upset about passing on defense over on their board...of course, they did get a guy that scored 70 goals last season...

Connolly's good, I had him going around there.
Skinner was barely a first round pick on most boards. He was 34th in the final CSS rankings, and that was up from his midterm spot. This is a gigantic reach.

Burmistrov to Atlanta. Certainly not a bad pick, but with Fowler and Gormley still on the board, how can you not go best available?
