Sprung Inline Chassis

So I've seen a few other posts discussing the Sprung skate frames for roller hockey. We finally got a pair to test and these things are different than anything else out there. Check out the Sprung chassis review. They definitely change the mechanics of a typical roller hockey stride.

For those other guys that have them, I'm curious to know what boot you mounted them to and what your results were.

I've had them on a RBK 9k boot for about 8 months now and love them. I'm a decent enough skater and I think my skating improved even more with them.

Are these similar to the Tuuk rockers from a few years ago?

I've never seen those up close but it doesn't look like they have suspension like sprungs. Maybe that middle piece just slides along a track? If that's the case it doesn't seem like all the wheels would contact the ground at once, and you wouldn't get the benefit of accelerated starts or hard turns. This is just speculation, though I've never tried the Tuuks
