Probably the Wild would pursue him, but he might be a nice player for the Flyers who could slide up to a top roll if (when) injuries occur. Probably would cost just under $900,000.
If he wasn't good enough to stick with the worst team in the league, what makes you think he's good enough to find a spot on the team that just finished second best? I've got a soft spot for Potulny for some reason, but he sure as hell doesn't have a place on the Flyers.

Would it really have been the end of the world if we let Teslak, Clackson, Bellamy, and Beaulieu go? WTF?

They will never be Flyers.

He does fall down a lot but he does hit.

Timmy also reported hat Flyers made an 2M a year offer to Turco.

Flyers never did make such offer. http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/..._to_Turco.html

Note to Holmgren, never tell an assembled media that free agents will be "easy to sign." It's been a couple weeks, and I'm waiting for the first.

If they dont add a top end or mid tier dman, look for Vandermeer part 3 for 800k.

Do we have a confirmation on whether the QOs were for just the Flyers or for all the guys?

Potulny scored 15 goals with cr%p next to him. He has talent and would be a good piece for cheap. Edmonton had to make room for MPS, Eberle and Hall. Besides they are the worst team in the league so they by definition make bad decisions. Too many of their players are alike and Potulny is the easiest to let go.

errrr... did I miss something?

I was pretty sure that free agents had to wait until tommorrow to sign?

PS. What do you think about Kim Johnsson as our 5th dman?

any updates with regards to the Phantoms?

IMO, the only ones that should be qualified are Laliberte and maybe Clackson

He said a ways back that he thinks our RFA's will be "easy to sign." Might as well advertise to the agents that you think they can be taken advantage of.

Kim Johnsson has to prove his brains aren't scrambled. I didn't see yet if he got a clean bill of health yet unless I missed it. I think he may have played his last NHL game.

Remember everyone freaking out about all the AHL RFA's being qualified? Turns out that according to capgeek only Clackson and Laliberte were qualified. The other 4 douches are declared UFA. Good news. Laliberte I have not given up on yet.

Edit- I see that Billy updated this in the prospects thread. Sorry I had missed it.

just noticed this (from nhl.com):

Group 2 FAs: Dan Carcillo, Matthew Clackson, David Laliberte, Darroll Powe.
Group 3 UFAs: Arron Asham, Sebastien Caron, Sean Curry, Ray Emery, Krystofer Kolanos, Lukas Krajicek, Joey Mormina, Mika Pyorala, Mike Rathje, Jared Ross, Jason Ward.
Group 6 UFAs: Ryan Dingle, Danny Syvret.
UFAs: Josh Beaulieu, Rob Bellamy, Jeremy Duchesne, Michael-Lee Teslak.

Kinda figured not all of our RFAs would be qualified

Probably last years biggest disappointment. I didn't have huge expectations for him but I remember many on here had him pegged into the 3rd line spot before training camp. He seems to have completely given up.
