Almost every article surrounding UFA's, or reporters on radio stations have all mentioned Turco's name linked to San Jose.

It just seems like that's what's going to happen.

I think his play has declined over the years, but Wilson obviously see's otherwise.

Well he was at a PF Cheng's yesterday in San Jose. So it may happen.

C'mon bro, at least get your consoles right. Everyone knows Wilson was a mad Altered Beast fan and rolls a Genesis.

Phew, was worried Dougie might go after him.

Looks like Mason or Turco are the most likely, and Ellis if he doesn't stick with Montreal.

Pierre Lebrun from his chat:

(4:04 PM)

My gut feeling is that Turco tops Sharks' list. I've talked to Doug Wilson about this goalie search but he won't give me any hints. I'm just going on Turco's past history at Shark Tank and the fact I think he'd be a good fit. Turco has told me repteadly over last month that he wants to join a winner

If Turco is not a Shark by tomorrow afternoon I will be frankly stunned.

I'm actually not TOO negative on the whole thing. He's not my first choice, but as long as his contract isn't over 3m, I'm ok with it. I think having a puck handling goalie will be fantastic for this team, and he's a great mentor (probably better than Nabby) for our young goalies (especially Stalock).

Plus, he could always have an improved season and really surprise us. He's perfectly capable of it.

My friend says you get Turco in there to mentor Stalock and give the team another year with Stalock and BOOM! final round here we come!

Or so he says.

Looks like he's gonna be their starter. $1.5mil a year.

I guess Turco is our guy. Just hope he signs at $2mil, not $3mil.

Funny that with our history and this year's defense, he considers us "winners."

if it's Turco, then we should all just pray to god that it's the GOOD Turco, and not the turn the puck over to Marleau Turco...

Pretty sure I read on some tweets that the Flyers would like to make Leighton the backup and sign someone to be the #1 or in a platoon.

Except we want him giving it to Marleau if this happens

But I hope it doesn't.

Well I hope he can teach him to shake his helmet off at opportune times and give a good whack at the skates erry once in a while

Seriously though, think about how nice it will be having a goalie who can make a better break out pass than any of your defensemen!

wait... ouch... our defense sucks.

Then why on Earth would you pay him so much money? Keep Booosh and his <1mil salary and save that money for the goalie and everything else you need to patch up. This is Doug Wilson like signing.
