Apparently, everyone was worried about a 2 guy system, lets go for the octopus system at this point get 4 more guys cheap.

Ellis said he didn't wanted to be in the same situation in was in Nashville...Behind a young promising goalie (Rinne)

After saying that the money wasn't there and the term wasn't there. What would have been his move if the money and the term would have been there? We don't know.

If you read french, if not he was quoted saying he wasn't looking for the #1 spot at all cost.

I wouldn't say that. Sanford was the starter in the playoffs once he returned from injury.

As a Dogs fan, love it, the Dogs will once again likely have the best goalie duo in the AHL (although I pray one or both of Henry/Belle are back) So great news for the Dogs. Plus it gives us good depth in case of injuries, Sanford was great at times in the AHL last year (struggled a little when he came back from injury) and Desjardins was very good as well.

Yeah - because the money and term weren't there. Why be stuck behind Price for 1-year for $1M, when clearly you can get a $3M contract over 2-years elsewhere.

Not to mention, I still hate handing the #1 job to a guy who has only won 20 of his last 64 starts.
