Another 4th line depth move, as Gillis continues to shore up the holes on this club.

fills Grabner's spot in our LW prospect pool... and I think he will be better than Grabner.

Great Move here too. Very fast skater with good hands and can add in 10 goals.

cool, someone to play cards with morgan clark.

now that tambo's gone, isn't it edmonton's responsibility to pick up his legacies?

Tambellini had 14 pts in 36 games with NYI, not terrible. All i remember is that he's got great speed. Hows his Defensive game?

I remember when we almost took him over Kesler in the draft...now we got both. What a day to be a nucks' fan

He's good on the 4th line and can fill in on a scoring line if needed. Solid signing.

How did Jeff Tambellini get more new threads than Dan Hamhuis or Manny Malhotra?

Blazing speed and good work ethic, albeit a little undersized. I like it as a depth move, he's on par/a little behind what Grabner was at with this organization.

odd pickup... was expecting more sandpaper in the bottom-6, not more speed... though admittedly haven't watched a lot of the Isles recently, but I thought this guy was a speedster who's offensive game hasn't quite come together during his development... basically a poor-man's Raymond?

He is an elite AHL player - maybe he's being given a shot to make the team with the thought that he can help the Moose if he doesn't.

That's basically the gist, NFiTO. A guy who hasn't been able to really discover the offensive game expected of him, and a poor man's Raymond is almost exactly how I would describe him. Good offensive depth at the very least. Gillis wanted young players who could push, and Tambellini could easily fit that bill.
