Chris Higgins

Why not?

If he accepts 1M$ / 1 year ... I would do it right now.

I've always been curious if he's really hit his ceiling.

Would he really be that big a waste of 1mil?

He's been on a downward spiral for a couple of years
Do you really want to take a chance?

He would be worth it at 1M$. He had 3 consecutives seasons of 20+ goals not so long ago. I would give him a shot.

An then we sign McDonagh next summer.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was so happy the day the team traded him and his benevolent uslesness. I dont want him back anytime soon unless he decides to be burried in MTL the day he dies.

Even for 1M i don't want him. Give a shot to Palushaj or some younger prospect

I would sign him as well. Not sold on Pouliot or AK to hold down a top 6 spot. Not sold on Higgins either, but he'd be a good third liner.

I don't think his knee was ever the same tho.

I'd love to see Higgins back. Always admired his work ethic, even when he wasn't scoring. He's not a useless as Pouliot or Kostitsyn without the puck and is a good option should they not show up.

I honestly wouldn't mind Higgins back.

Higgins - Moore/Eller - Lapierre as a 3rd line wouldn't look too bad.

Just a heads up:

Libel: Any posts libeling players, prospects, or hockey personnel. It's not acceptable to post that you heard Player X has a drinking/drug/sex/personal problem from a "good" source. Do not post information that can be considered defamatory without a link to a credible media source. Other forums, personal websites, hearsay, and personal testimonials are not considered credible.

of course you take him at 1 year/1M$...

he's a good hockey player, may never get back to the 25+ goal territory, but he's an excellent pk player, and a solid 3rd liner on any team in the league.

boogard and shelley both signed for more than that, Higgins would not come that cheaply...

Only if Martin gets a player to pop in the rebounds from the posts he hits.
