Like the contract. Not too long, nice dollar value for a roleplayer (which is what has really crippled the team the last few years...the guys in the bottom 6 were making more than some of the skill guys!)

I like the deal too, but just about every contract out there looks good when you put it beside the Boogard deal.

Anyway, he's our 4th line center, and he's making 4th line center money. We didn't get any discounts here, but we didn't over pay him either. Good deal in my books.

looking forward to seeing this guy play, I've heard good things, and I've always been partial to the "4th line" centers like Marty Sakic and Kyle Brodziak to name just two.


*and before you all start hacking on Brodziak, he was part of the best 4th line in hockey for a brief period. Glencross - Brodziak - Stortini was a thing of beauty.... for about 20 games or so.
