That's my dream...

Cammalleri - Plekanec - Radulov

Frolov - Gomez - Gionta

would be a SOLID top 6.
I agree with the dream ... but it is really risky because Rad have a very high chance to not come.

AK scores and hits and has potential. We'll get who to replace him exactly? It's a load of ****. Unless we're getting someone significantly bigger(and we dont have cap to do it) then why trade AK for?
Potential start to be vanishing... AK is entering his prime, at 25 years old he was just showing flashes earlier in his career. He could very well be the next Higgins (see how he collapsed). At least Higgins got heart and is better defensively to compensate.

AK had 1 good playoff game so I would not be upset if he left. As for Pagnotta...yes he is reliable but having followed all of the twitter guys yesterday I argue that he did not break anything before Dreger or just about anyone else as the OP said. Pags was the only one to say AK was trade bait so I give him credit for that...but this rumour is not far fetched knowing his poor playoff performance and lack of effort most nights.

I think that the idea will be to send AK to a team where he might be more suited & get back a player that will suit our team better...

You know, Sutter has made such peculiar moves that PG should probably give a call over there and see if he can make some crazy trade. He better do it soon though, I hear they are sharpening the pitch forks in Flamesland, getting a sturdy rope at that.

just in case you want to go NUTS, would the habs have enough money if we trade away Andre and put in what's left in the bank to sign Kovalchuk?????????????? on a long term cap happy contract.

Seriously doubt it .. Frolov is far more likely. Very similar player to AK in many many ways but does have two 35+ goal seasons under his belt and has played with Cammy before.

I agree it's much more likely but don't forget a second aspect with Frolov. Andre is just not good at carry the puck but he is good at pass me the puck so I can shoot. Frolov can do both. Shoot and carry the puck into the zone a create a big play, not jut shoot. That's why Cammy want's him. Cammy already knows Andre can't feed Cammy but Frolov Can. It's Cammy that has played with both and has the best judgement of both players.

Kostitsyn probably has negative trade value because of his salary anyways.

I dunno, as it stands now he's not making much more money than the likes of Colby Armstrong and Manny Malhotra...

Really? I think it's the opposite...

I think AK46 given his contract status of 3.5M for this upcoming year and STILL having 1 more year of RFA status makes him a very good trading commodity if the Habs are indeed shopping him.

But I don't buy it...I think alot of people like to lump Andrei in with Sergei, but I don't think management sees him the same way.

He's relatively cheap for the production I think he's capable of providing and his salary is cost-controlled for at least another 2 years, so I doubt he's going anywhere

I'm not against trading Andrei...he was pretty much a no-show in the playoffs. And on top of that, if he was not inspired by the play of Cammalleri and Gionta during our run, when will he ever decide to get his head out of his ass and play hockey?

It's unlikely that we'll trade him imo though...

This I agree....Andrei has struggle mostly since he entered the league but I still believe in his talent. I'm also very sure that other team would love to get their hands on him.

Habs should talk to Flyers about unloading Gagne or even Carter.

per mathias brunet http://blogues.cyberpresse.ca/lnh/20...eux-des-kings/

the ducks have some problems signing ryan because he wants too much money. They had offer 5 years 25 million but ryan want more...

maybe we could package kost and more for Bobby Ryan. That guy is just too good!!!

Well that's not entirely true. He did break Toni Lydman to the ducks first and Bob Mackenzie gave him props for doing so on twitter.

He was also the first to talk about a potential Kings trade about 10 minutes before everyone else mentioned it.
