He sure sounds pretty damn "certain" on this one....he's basically making it sound like it's almost like a done deal.

I know it's Ek....but would he commit this much on something that is wrong? I mean, he's been wrong a billion times, but this sounds like something is happening...for certain.

That's not just a rumor, that's almost a guarantee.

I still don't believe it.

i actually go on hockeybuzz all the time. it's got a ton of beat writers/bloggers on it and it's fun just to see someone throw all the crap that he hears out there.

the parts that i find funny are when he makes an outright prediction or some sort of bold statement like "Are the Canucks the only team that can beat the Capitals in a 7 game series?!?!?!" or "I predict Bill Guerin will have a 40 goal season and be named captain of the U.S. Olympic team!" or just plain stupidly hilarious like "It truly is a magical time to be a hockey fan in Belarus right now!".

He's wrong almost all the time and some of the stuff he puts out there is ridiculous, but yeah I don't understand why people actually get mad at him.

Yes, but hes just making a call on what he hears. Hes not the one actually pulling the trigger on trades, and since trades fall through all the time he looks wrong a lot. But again, just take Eklund for what he is.

Because he is a fraud and a ****** bag and charges money for made up ********.

And I've heard that he actually gets sad when he reads about how much he is hated. Which is awesome, because he should be hated. He gives Philly a bad name and he's not extraordinarily well-liked among hockey circles anyway.

I'm actually very impressed that he's managed to create an entire career out of making 99% of his information up.

I mean, any of us could have started a blog during the lockout and made stuff up, but none of us did. Guy is a fraud, but also a genius for somehow getting away with it.

Oh he doesn't bother me, it's interesting to read some stuff. I just wish he had the balls to throw out teams and players with his rumors. I would believe him a little more if he actually said something of substance. But I'm not losing sleep over some random internet guy.

Yeah, he is a great con artist. No one can deny him that. He just faked being a journalist long enough to actually crawl his way into the profession in much the same way as a child suffering from fetal alcohol syndrome will crawl out of its mother's gaping, crack-***** vagina.

Jesus Christ, would you like someone to run out and grab you a tampon? If people think hes making stuff up, don't pay a dime to the site.

Do a google search for Eklund and Kuklas Korner.

I hope the team does make a big trade, one that will benefit the flyers but eklund has given us nothing to believe there is substance to his story.

He's going to say no. The guy has been here for what, ten years? Not to mention, I'm sure his family is here.

Unless we get a great return for Gagne, there is no reason why we should trade him over Hartnell. This is ****ing retarded if it is true

Until you know what's coming back, you can't say the move is retarded. I don't like the idea because I would want to move Hartnell or Carle before Gagne.

I would be very surprised if he does say no.
