I personally think that SK has a real chance at thriving here in Nashville. I think he will find the environment of the south very hospitable and less critical of him. Anyone would typically perform better. Perhaps getting out of his brother's shadow could help? Has he said anything since coming here?

He's back home in Belarus at the moment, so he's not been readily available to the media. He did speak to Poile the other day, and Poile came out of the chat with a good feeling about SK and his desire to succeed in Nashville. Said that he felt this was just the sort of change of scenery he needed for a fresh start. I'm optimistic.

Well I am happy but I pity you guys I watched this kid in London and was pissed when the HABS drafted him. I was happy to hear we traded him you guys just got Rads headcase with less offensive talent. He will destroy the locker room chemistry as he did with every team over here. I have family that works for the Knights and he was a disruption there also. I can say I am over the moon that we finally shipped him outa town.

If hes that bad he'll be booted from here quickly as well.
I imagine poile isnt going to give him much of a contract and will have the bail out plan ready..

So, my question is how much does Parent and Franson sign for? THis is a steal. This contract puts all the pressure on Kostitsyn. If he wants to get paid anywhere he BETTER damn well show up.

SK will still be an RFA next summer. You want to watch a motivated player this season? Look no further. This contract is Poile telling SK that he is going to be given the opportunity here to prove everyone wrong and SK saying, "bring it on!"
Kostitsyn is going to be one highly motivated player next season trying to say, "screw you" to Montreal and at the same time earning himself a big payday next summer...
I honestly predict a breakout year for SK. The ball is in his court and there's no doubt that he has the skill or the motivation to reach his full potential this season.
