Ruslan Fedotenko

What about him?

Back to Tampa? New contract with Pens?

Is he done? Going to KHL?

I wonder.

I was hoping the Flyers would pick him up for under $2MM ($1.5MM IDEALLY).

Ray Shero has stated Ruslan Fedotenko is not coming back a few weeks ago, so defiantly not the Pens. (THANK GOD.)

KHL probably. He only scored 11 goals playing with one of the best centers in the game in Malkin.

1 year 1M to TB would be ideal. Tampa Bay needs depth at forward and Fedotenko goes back to where he's had his most success. Plus hes absolutely loved by the fans here.

I don't see what leverage he has for anything beyond 1 year/<$1M.

If he signs anywhere for more than league minimum, I will be surprised. Useless this year with Malkin. Couldn't score, couldn't make a play, couldn't backcheck, couldn't forecheck... you get the picture. i wouldn't want him on the Pens even if he was PAYING to play.

Agree, Stick him on your third line he might score 10-15 goals 25-30 points if you give him 2nd unit PP time. In his 2nd season as a Pen I think he had about 5 good games, 5 average ones and the rest were garbage.

Don't bet on KHL. He loves North America and even moved his parents here. He has 2 kids playing Jr hockey here also.

I think he has a farm in the Mid-west also.

I love Feds forever for his performance in the Cup run. I'd love to have him back with the Lightning at the right price.

lol

you're insane for paying him 1mil. At least pay that money to a Tough Guy who will protect Stamkos or Vinny L

Lightning don't need an enforcer, they could use depth at forward and a playoff hero.

Chicago had depth at Foward with prospects coming up but I would prefer to fill of the top 9 spots with 1 rook and the other with a vet rather than a rook for both

Plus he has 2 cups, and would be nice at 1 yr/1 mil on the 3rd Line

He was real good for the Pens during their cup run. Last year he looked like a totally different player.

Honestly, I like feds, but he was so bad last year it was unreal. Every single call up from wilkes-barre was a better player than he was.

Numbers aside-Fedotenko was terrible.

He was awful on the puck and off of it. He never got in any scoring positions. Never crashed the net, never won a battle, he was absolute rubbish and didn't do a damn thing right this year.

I think he was 0-1400 in board battles for the puck last year. Its why malkins line could NEVER sustain pressure.

I don't think any team would want to even try and see if he'd rebound after the dismal season he had. KHL-bound.

I agree that he might have to settle for less money and a one-year deal to prove that he can rebound from a poor season. A team will take a chance on him for a low price. Though in light of his postseason play and the way he ups his game the disappointing regular season efforts are an issue. It's hard to invest in a player in a capped league when you don't know what you're going to get for the first 82 games you play.
