I guess we will now by Traverse. Boutet and Belzile were suppose to have some talent but did not here anything about them. Wonder what Coyle did other than be a d-man to get a contract

He was signed before the camp started.

Dallas obviously scouts the hell out of the WHL and Western Canada. It's safe to assume Coyle was signed because of his on ice performance in the WHL based on viewings from Dallas scouts.

I actually saw he signed with an Austrian team last week (EC Salzburg). He must have had an NHL out clause.
