My Pipe Dream for the rest of the offseason

First i would love to see a trade around carter for ryan with other spare parts moving. then we could sign ryan for about 5.5

Then we could trade hartnell for Harding from Minnesota or Backes from St. Louis, hopefully Harding.

Last i am not sure Phoenix would do it but, trade Coburn for Keith Yandle. maybe we could take on a salary dump to put in the minors to make the money work.

I think Ryan wants to get paid, i'm not even sure 5.5 would be enough (conflicting reports from Anaheim)...while I love Ryan, I've been hearing murmurs that he's a bit of a headcase.

Harding is not the answer in my opinion, he's not someone i'm personally interested in unless he comes very cheaply. Even then, seems to have some injury issues (even for the limited amount of time he's played).

Yandle is 23, just came off a 41 point season and is signed to a 1.2 cap hit until 11/12 and he's still RFA. For a franchise on the brink, he is absolutely money and won't be traded. That said...i'm going to trade for him in NHL 10 right now Good idea
