Dan Lacosta to Europe

He was in my work today with a buddy to help his buddy look for gear. Heard him mention he will be headed to europe most likely, as hes engadged and would like a higher income to have more financial stability. Mentioned Austria and Germany when on the phoen with his agent.

Not a giant loss, and he played REALLY bad last year, but isnt that bad a goalie.

LaCosta is a good goaltender, and in a league like the DEL he would be successful. I was in Munich and Frankfurt last summer, who wouldn't want to live in those extraordinary cities and play hockey for an awesome paycheque?

I really hope Danny lands on his feet and enjoys success.

Those wins he got us on our road to the playoffs were pretty darn important. I'll never forget his crazy eyed interviews with his Crunch hat turned around backwards.

Hes even more crazy eyed in person! He seemed like a good guy, so hopefully he gets some stable income. If he can make aliving doing what he loves thats awesome for him. I really dont see him comming back to the NHL thouhg.

Maybe it was two seasons ago but there were 3 or 4 games where he flat stood on his head and everyone expected him to do poorly. That's what I'll remember from him. Last season was not a highlight for him (or the team)

I hope Dan does well wherever he goes.

Exactly.
I wish we knew exactly why he went from hero to zero so fast.
It was a meteoric descent.
