K1 Jerseys: Sizing???

Our team is about to order new jerseys in a few weeks; more specifically K1 jerseys. I've never owned a K1 jersey and was curious to know if any members here know how their sizes run? I was wondering if they run small, big or true to size. I wear a large in the CCM practice jersey, as well as a large in the RBK Platinum practice jersey. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Rather true to size but extremely short.

Thanks for the info TBLfan! When you say the jerseys are short, how much shorter are you talking about?

Hmm, I've found them to run rather large. I have a K1 in XL and its quite a bit larger than my XL RBK uncrested premier jersey, my XL CCM jersey and my XL Nike Team USA jersey.

The attached photo is a K1 underneath the RBK. You can see its quite a bit wider through body and the sleeves especially are huge. Both are XL.

I can't tell you the measurements but I tried one without shoulder pads on and it really felt like a normal shirt length moreso than a jersey. This was a few years ago though, they may have changed the cut in the past couple of years.

Nike and Premier jerseys are much tighter than the average jersey.

What is the average jersey? I also have a CCM that is similar to both the Nike and RBK jerseys.

My team also uses an Athletic Knit jersey that fits like the others and I have several other practice jerseys that all fit like the rest. The K1 is the only one that is the size it is.

They are all about the same length.

For what its worth, just trying to help the guy.

Are you sure they're the same size?

I've always found CCM jerseys to be big. AK seems to be the norm for the average whatever brand jersey. Even Lutch is similar to AK jersey sizing, although the sleeves are a little tighter.

I really appreciate all the helpful info regarding the K1 jersey sizing! I'm just trying to decide on whether I should go with a large or x-large. I'll most likely go with the x-large since it won't hurt to have a little more space/room in my jersey.
