I don't know where you got the "Locke gets his stick liften" observation from but...
Parise on a 1st line this year: 15 goals, 53 points.
Locke on a 4th line this year: 16 goals, 40 points.
50 points is just about what Parise has gotten.
And when you consider that Locke would have been getting 1st PP unit time I think that more than makes up thedifference on its own. Add better linemates on the same even strength time and that would surpass Parise's production.
Please don't tell me you are comparing Parise and Locke? Yannick Lehoux scored 54 points in 38 games. Does that make him better than both Parise and Locke? Of course not.
Also, everyone is Albany is having a tough year. They are a crappy team. They haven't made the playoffs in 3 or 4 years.
