little fishy about Kugryshev not getting the visa. You would think his agent or someone would do it.

I'm wondering whether or not playing in Hershey is the goal. I think he might think about the KHL (I wouldn't blame him) in this situation, as he had a ok, but not stellar year in the Q. Either way, I don't know where he stands with the organization at this point, it certainly would be interesting to find out.

Seriously? Without additional information, not sure how anyone can speculate regarding this being more than simply a paperwork/timing snafu regarding the Kugryshev visa situation. Fact it, plenty of opportunity for things to go wrong in terms of the paperwork. And based on my understanding, there would be a Capitals' employee involved in the process, too. Agent, player, team, oh yeah and the government visa process.

OT: According to reports, a 21yo prospect for the Edmonton Oilers, Kyle Bigos, isn't at Edmonton's camp because his passport expired.

Good thing that guy isn't Russian or the implications would be sinister...

What makes you think he's not going to the KHL?

Awesome. Got to see him in person a couple of times last year. He's got some tools, but definitely pretty un-polished. It'll be interesting to see how he plays with more talent around him.

Too bad cooger isnt going to be there. I spoke to him briefly two years ago before he headed to the Q. I am thinking about catching Wednesday's and Saturday's scrimmages and should be able to get some video for out of towners.

Here's the link to the Burt info. source and here's his RIT profile

There are a few articles about Burt from RIT's run this spring in the NCAA tourney...here's one article Also, worth noting that the Pinizzotto is a former RIT player.

Looks like Chris Bond will be blogging during camp. link

"For info on many of the invitees whose rights the Caps don't currently hold, check out sk84fun_dc's always outstanding work over at HFBoards."

No camp for me this week. First time in a long time not going.

My #1 decided to take a week in the obx, so I have to run the place shorthanded. Bah.

Strung that's a bummer. You'll just have to read Finley's blog over at OFB for updates

Here's a shocker...it's cold in here, lol.

Do they at least have the section above the ice open? I hate when they have that closed off.

Brilliant first or second post, congrats.

Of course posters here know all the FA invites and just to annoy you they haven't posted the info.

Gag.

Oh the other hand, please keep an eye on big Joe. Hopefully the organization is giving up the playing him at forward thing and work on developing him into what they need on the blueline.

Here's hoping he has a good camp like he did three years ago.
