Not sure I understand this, thought he was doing very well in the AHL.

sometimes it is all about krugerrands, sometimes it is about other things... correct me if I'm wrong, but he barely speak english... so he goes back home and will make more in KHL next season than in NHL in next few seasons...

Wished he would stay, so Bob would of had someone to talk to. Kinda feel bad for Bob since he doesnt know any English and kinda outcasts himself

Can't say I blame him. It's more lucrative to play in Europe compared to the AHL and it's close to home for a player like that. When you look at the whole picture it makes sense.

The dude is a flake. Was a flake in Russia... not sure we need to find reasons for why he's a flake here.

I agree. I'm not sure if j want part of a fringe NHL player when he's already been moved around from team to team in Russia. If he was Andrei Markov I'd work with him but it seems he wouldn't be much more than a good 3rd pairing guy anyway. I'd rather a lesser talent with a better tude.

Yeah, this is completely whatever to me. By all accounts he wasn't that great over there despite what Holmgren and co. were saying (Emery specifically stated that he wasn't NHL ready having played against him). You add in the clear attitude problem or whatever is going on... and you wind up at whatever.

BCF16 has some serious hate for the coach up there, but I'm not sure it's fair to ask questions of him on this front... Bodrov has a whole crate full of his own problems we need to work through before we start blaming other people.

I don't see him as a big loss anymore. 3 Years ago I wouldn't have said that but his stock has dropped off big time the last few years.

Last I heard he was training with Ottawa. Doesn't mean anything though. We allow former players to work and and such with our team too.

Meh. He had some serious competition if he was going to break into the Flyers roster any time soon. Wasn't he real lazy and selfish anyway? No love lost.

Don't really even care about him anymore. He showed some promise a few years ago, but clearly has attitude problems and we have better options ahead of him on the depth chart.
