Powe wont make more than Betts I would think. Hell be around 700k

I don't have a lot of interest in bringing Powe back tbh, he is an awful ES player.

It makes me ill to see Carcillo in the top 6 - particularly when he, Betts and Lappy made the best 4th line in the league. Unfortunately, he's probably going to see far more time there than he should. If Richie has Zherdev and Carcillo as his wings, kiss his stats goodbye.

The point is more that replace Gagne's roster spot with a $1 mill ish player and we CAN afford Turco.

Carcillo played on the Richards line for more then half the season last year. He only managed 22 points. Zherdev isnt bad, but he is a lazy player. If he plays lazy (like he ussually does) and Carcillo plays dumb (like he ussually does) that line is going to be terrible. Riche is gonna do to much and maybe it will even lead to him becoming hurt (as in pulling something or things along that nature).

Yes, he is. The team was worse defensively with him on the ice in each of the last 2 years.

This makes perfect sense. The Flyers signed Shelley to sit in with meetings with Gary Bettmen to make sure he allows the Flyers to go over the cap to start the season.
