AA for me, no one has played at a higher level than this guy, and at 18 to boot!

Leblanc for me. I admit that my knowledge about our prospects has dropped off a bit in the last two years but my gut feeling puts Louis Leblanc ahead of the rest for now.

Someone's rude. Anyways, the pack was thinned near the end of the poll.

I picked Tinordi, add Dumont.

Trunev, Maxim. He's not even on the list.

Add him, he's got more talent/potential than a lot of those guys...

Pacioretty at #3 is a bit of a travesty IMO. He's there solely on the hype of 2 years ago...

Doesn't have the puck skills to be a threat on a scoring line, and doesn't have the defensive awareness to be a checker. Right now he's basically a great forechecker...

Could maybe develop into a good 3rd liner, but he'll have to improve a ton in regards to his defensive play for that to happen.

Kristo for me, as he was in the last round.

Leblanc is probably our first ever 1st round draft pick to never make it in the top 3. Even Chipchura was seen as a top 3 prospect at some point.

Well, there's a few years left for him I guess.

I thought all this was for NHL readiness...... Given who went in the top 3, all of which are going to battle for a spot I only assumed this was the case.

Louis is a future franchise player to me. I think he is our 2nd maybe 3rd best prospect after PK of course

Its not about 3 on 300

its about Pacioretty winning by 4 votes on Kristo and 10 on Leblanc.

Its just too close.

Please vote for #4. The poll will be opened for 48h.

I've added Cedrick Desjardins, G

Please make sure to add other prospects to replace the elected ones and add stats to help convince us foe your vote.

I vote for Avtsin.

Please add Engqvist.

And once again, remove Pyatt. He is on a one-way contract, and basically is already an NHLer. Remove him from the poll, that makes more sense than seeing him come 20th!

You still gave him an order while, like he said, you were too few to ask for another poll... the actual poll is running and healthy, so participate, or not, your choice...

I agree, unless he's unexpectedly bad come training camp, he's pretty much a lock for the NHL...

You could say the same thing about Pk or Eller then.

Add White. If for no other reason than to see how many votes he gets as a top 5 prospect. My guess is 3-7.

Thanks for backing me up! as for pyatt he may be a lock but he is still consider as a prospect as per the rules I mentioned in the first thread! No one said anything! No unless a majority of people make a clear request no changes will be made.

I will have a better idea after watching Eller with the Habs this year and hopefully Leblanc at the WJC.. At the moment I tend to think that Leblanc has a bigger upside than Eller but its just a personal feeling..

so my top "7" would be:

Subban
Leblanc
Eller
Paccioretty
kristo
Tinordi
Weber

I agree with this, but whatever, I guess. There were 329 voters, and 1st and 3rd ended up separated by only 10 votes. There were more total votes for the remaining 10 or so guys (after Pac, Kristo and Leblanc) than that. If the votes for the 2nd and 3rd highest guys comprise well over 50% of the total vote, and there are more "out-lier" votes than the deciding margin, a tie-breaker vote becomes worth considering.

How many Leblanc voters would have chosen MaxPac over Kristo (and vice versa) if the choice was restricted? In the end, I guess I don't really see these polls "accurately" representing the overall opinion of this board unless these things are considered, but who really cares.

edit: and Engqvist should definitely be on the list soon, if not now (instead of Bennett, perhaps, or even Desharnais).

Only 70 people out of 329 voters even commented in the thread. Could be possible that you're ignoring a silent majority. Doubt it, but I mean, 3 people spoke out FOR the idea, and I don't think anyone spoke up AGAINST it...
