Well that's a damn better thing as far as hockey is concerned. Over the past 20 years the Wings have won 4 Cups. Over the past 20 years, Minnesota has lost their NHL team once. Want to keep playing?

Oh and by the way, Metro Detroit, particularly Novi and West Bloomfield where most of the players live, is probably a hell of a lot nicer than where you live, you ****.

Well most of those guys won Cup rings here, so we're cool with it.

Why so defensive guy? To me, there's no better way to sound like you've been beat than to start calling out other people and plead with others to see your point of view, which is exactly what you've done.

Can't we just go back to talking about Modano?

Lots of teams have bad owners, not a lot of teams average under 10,000 fans a game in a season where they make the Stanley Cup finals.

Maybe Modano didn't care about your reasons and found the proclamations about loving hockey contrasted poorly with the lack of support he and his team felt?

Fixed it for you since you were obviously confused.

Modano may not end up in Detroit
07.13.2010 / 11:59 a.m. ET

It seemed like a perfect fit, but the chances of Mike Modano signing with the Detroit Red Wings suddenly appear slim.

According to the Detroit News, the offer the Red Wings gave Modano might not be enough to entice the Michigan native to head to Motown. Detroit currently has 20 players under contract at a total of $55.7 million, but still has to sign restricted free agents Derek Meech, Justin Abdelkader and Darren Helm.

"We made an offer, we made our pitch," Wings GM Ken Holland told the paper. "But this being a cap world, we've made lots of commitments. We don't have a lot of wiggle room.

"We would love to have Mike join us, but we only have a certain amount to spend."

Other teams reportedly interested in Modano's services are Minnesota, San Jose and Anaheim.

A duck killer becoming a Duck? Now that'd be a sight to see. We don't have room for him though.
