I don't think it will happen, but I would be really happy if Maxwell could force his way into the line up and get a chance to hold the 3rd center spot with some decent wingers. It could also allow us to move Eller into a more offensive role, albeit on the wing:

Pouliot-Gomez-Gionta
Cammalleri-Plekanec-Eller
Kostitsyn-Maxwell-Lapierre
Pyatt-Boyd-Moen
White, Trotter

Hamrlik-Subban
Spacek-O'Byrne
Gill-Gorges
Carle
(Markov: Injured to Start)

Price
Auld

Mine:

Cammalleri - Plekanec - Kostitsyn
Pouliot - Gomez - Gionta
Pyatt - Eller - Lapierre
Moen - Boyd - Darche

Trotter (waivers)
White (If Darche would have not been signed(???), White would be at his spot)
Pacioretty need a year in the AHL IMO.

It's pretty hard to make a great D line up considering we have too much players to fill the 6 spots...

While Markov is injured:

Hamrlik - Subban
Gill - Gorges
Spacek - O'Byrne / Carle (waivers)

Markov in:

Markov - Gorges
Hamrlik - Subban
Gill - Spacek or Spacek - O'Byrne or Spacek - Carle

I really don't like the last one, but I can't see anything better. We will have to trade a Dman(LH), no doubt about it.

IMo the best fit for O'Byrne is with Markov, but if it's going this way, they will have to scratch some D I'd not want (Hamrlik, Spacek, Gorges) because we have to many LH, this is why I put Gorges on the right of Markov...

Darche

Call ups: Pacioretty, Maxwell, etc.

Markov - Spacek

I'd like to see our young forwards really prove themselves in the AHL before we bring them up.

My lineup

Kostitsyn - Pleks - Cammi
Pouliot - Gomez - Gionta
Boyd - Eller - Wheeler
Moen - Lapierre - Pyatt
Darche/White

Markov - Subban
Hamrlik - Spacek
Gorges - Gill
O'Byrne/Carle

Price
Auld

With Markov missing a bit of time in LTIR, we save some money. And with Boston in major salary troubles, Wheeler is available and i think at a modest price. On capgeek, I gave Price 3M per and Wheeler 2M per. This put us over 0.272M with 13 forwards, 7 defencemen and 2 goalies. Realistic i dont know, but i would like it.

C'mon... Enqvist should be on the second line instead of Boyd, he's more of an offensive player. I would think Carle would be on the second line instead of Pateryn also

A lot of people think that boyd has a lot of untapped offensive potential, whereas enqvist (or naatinen) could become good 3rd line centers.

edit: and that 4th line is killer. The'll be taking bodies off the ice in stretchers.

wow that's a lot of expectation for Avtsin, despite his poor number in KHL (9 points), and a lot of people already see him as a 1st liner... mind blowing !

I'd rather see Tinordi play in Junior before play in AHL.

My lineup once Avtsin gets called up this season. And I want Spacek to play on the left wing and give him 5-6 Dman minutes + PP. I want Eller to play with good offensive guys. AK and Pouliot's spots can be taken by anytime by any of the 3rd liners. If Eller for instance goes on the wing of Gomez cuz Pouliot aint doing ****, Boyd can center the 3rd line.

Pouliot - Gomez - Gionta
Cammalleri - Plekanec - AK
Boyd - Eller - Avtsin
Conboy - Lapierre - Pyatt

Darche
Moen

Hamrlik - Subban
Markov - Georges
Spacek - Obyrn

Gill

Price
U-Haul

This is why you cannot look at stats only when judging a player because you cannot take into account his ice time and what situations a player was put in.

I'm not saying he is a first liner or should play in the nhl, but he's done some impressive things for an 18 year old playing 5 minutes a game with no PP time in a men's league.

I'm putting Spacek in Gill's place because he's less useful in the regular season when referees aren't wearing blindfolds. It also have the benefits of putting less strain on Spacek and having 3 pairs of Def-Off defensemen.
There will be a battle in camp for the two 4th line winger spots.

Switch Subban and Spacek and I'm good.
I def like that bottom 6 a HELL of a lot more than the bottom 6 we went into last season with. Boyd and Pyatt are absolute speed demons and I can't wait to watch them fly around, not to mention getting to see Eller.

The thing is some posters here ARE putting Avtsin on the 1st/2nd line in their lineups. That is the part.
