By the way, looking at that crop of prospects, I can only assume that we will be in the top 10 of HF's listings when they are made again. Even though we can all agree that there is some failed logic in their choices at times, it is certainly a gauge of where we are as an organization. Goaltending depth however may sink us pretty deep. Beyond Price, they well is not deep (sorry I am not one of those who has much stock in Desjardins beyond a serviceable backup in the NHL)

Avtsin will be in the NHL way before Leblanc. I still don't see what all the hype for leblanc is about. What the hell has he done besides have a french last name ?

This is a slam dunk. Wait for Leblanc to get to 50 then move on.

Got drafted in the first round.

Personally this is tough. Leblanc, Avstin, and Tinordi could all have cases made as could Tom Pyatt and Weber.

You should add Andreas Enqvist for the next one, he should be in our top-10. I could see himp laying for the habs at some point this season; he's big, he's fast and he's swedish!

I think Avtsin doesn't get enough respect on this board. Future 50 goal scorer.

This. I really liked what I saw from him at the Habs development.

I voted for Leblanc by the way.

Same thing for Leblanc

I don't believe in Leblanc so I vote for our last 1st roubd pick, Jarred Tinordi

Why the love for Tom Pyatt, he is a fourth line player?

The Canadiens are in deep trouble if a fourth line player is in the top 5 prospects.

Maxim Trunev - Plays in the KHL and was speculated to be a first round pick (though Russian factor would have dropped that) this past year. He's played and done ok at higher levels of competition than Kristo.

Though, I'm sure there's a logical explanation as to why he has never be part of this.

Tinordi - this monster has the most potential to make a big IMPACT on a team with a major need for size...

And you've seen tinordi play? Most people here have atleast seen highlights of avtsin, whereas tinordi is completely new territory. That's not to say that I disagree with you putting tinordi over a guy like leblanc (the difference in attitude is the deciding factor for me here), but your argument is flawed.

Leblanc couldn't get near 1ppg in a league that chris higgins teared up. Not exactly dominating IMO
