I don't know about you guys, but a player that stands next to the Queen, IMO, he's our captain.

No, I'm not sure. I really, really like Markov, but I'm not sure he can handle all the pressure taht comes with it. I want him to play as well as he can with a ŤAť on his Jersey.

Maybe he could, the organisation knows it better than me (us), but I have a feeling that it's not the best thing for him, them and us.

I'm going with Gorges or Gionta too.

Gionta is a good choice....

Cammalleri and Gorges are also good choices...

The best one IMO is Gionta because he always works hard (the others too) but on top of this he is calm, well respected by anyone and has some more experience than the others.

I could definitely see Cammalleri or Gorges end up with the C too but the only sure thing is Gorges,Markov,Cammalleri and Gionta will all have letters on their unis....

Not Markov we need someone who will talk to the media and blablabla. Gionta! (or Gorges!)

Remember last year, when Kosto was signed by the Hurricanes, and evebody's favorite, Tony Marinaro, interviewd Kosto and said that Gorges would be his choice to be named the captain...

Everybody was

Gorges would be a big mistake cause he had no experience at captain ?

And Cammalleri ? Gionta ? Markov ? Gill ? Don't think they already been the captain of an NHL team....

Anyway, i think JM will make a good choice. Personnally, i don't want to have Cammy for captain, not for his leadership but cause he's a natural scorer... When he will be scoreless in 5-6 straights games, we already know the song..... lol

PS: Josh Gorges won the Memorial Cup as the captain of the Kelowna Rockets.

We've had a real problem with this before, people have been editing articles and stuff. It's really stupid how far people will go to prove something that isn't real. Just don't buy into it, trust me.

I'm in favour of Gionta, he just seems like the guy to do it. Has the work ethic, leadership and the ability to score the goals that lift the team up and get them going.

Yeah, his pink shirt matches with his grey jacket. Maybe, you should stop writing stupid arguments like that or maybe you should reconsider your taste in clothing.

I would go with Gionta. I think he is a pretty good role model in all facets.
