The link works for me, but yes it's about your attendance.
I see, so your trying to poke fun at one of the worst teams in the league having one of the worst attendance records? That is golden. Whats your point? Do some research, the Lightning fan base is strong.

I'm not trying to poke fun. I just stated a fact, that everything isn't all blue in Tampa's sky, in terms of fans support. But hopefully for you, things will start getting better next year.
Pathetic, really. Learn something about the team. They're far from dire straights financially.
You should take your own advice.
The Lightning might have a new owner with deeper pockets, doesn't change the financial situation they have on the balance sheet, and it is still quite in the red. Once again at the end of this season, Tampa Bay received revenues from other teams to survive.
They have a hard time selling tickets, and if they can't turn it around quickly enough on the ice, they will be unable to survive in that market. They need a bigger fanbase and getting a new owner and new management won't magically create spectators who will buy tickets, the process takes time. They have to become good first, because let's face it, that's the only way they'll have an audience over there, and then that has to translate into a quick turnaround of the assistance numbers, and then finally, reach financial stability.
Sure the owner can inject cash everytime the team is in the red, but if you knew anything about the team as you proclaim you do, you would know that it would be at a 10+ million rate per year, he would have to pump cash into it. How much time will he tolerate a huge negative balance sheet?
Pumping cash into the team to keep them afloat won't bring spectators, but will permit them to survive until they do come, if they ever do.
Other teams, including the Flyers, take a proactive approach to cap management and actually try to get better.
The Habs trade their no. 1 goalie for prospects and call it a day.
If the Habs meet the Flyers in the playoffs next year who do you think will win, again?
Dude, you're in the minority of the fans who hasn't drank the koolaid yet. Everything you have said is right, but the fans here have bought into this passive approach the Habs have taken this year. They will somehow score more goals, get better goaltending, get better 5 on 5 as well.

Forget trying to convince JayBee, he's a lost cause!!!
He's been whining and *****ing like a high scholl girl since the beginning of the offseason and he is completely clueless about hockey. Don't bother. Since he lost is little Halak, he is now a Blues fan and another whining ex Habs fan he prefers a player over the team.
Put him on your ignore list, you will feel much better.

Actually, he started *****ing even before the off season started, so you can't put it all on Halak leaving...

My hockey IQ is considerably higher than yours. All I hear is excuses.
Besides Markov missing, wasn't the team healthy in the Philly series? They still struggled to score goals.
Subban will single handedly improve Montreal's scoring 5-5?
We'll talk in 6 months when you're making some other excuse for the Habs struggles.
All I hear is the team will be better....not by adding players...but relying on rookies and hoping everyone stays healthy like that 1 year when the Habs finished first and got embarassed in the 2nd round.
Gotta love the "if all the stars align, we'll be great" Hab fans. Realists are haters and should cheer for another team.

So what team are you picking? I'm realist and I'm not a hater.
I see a good season and although Halak was great, I have a good vibe about things in the way they are shapping up. Many things has to go right during a season and especially in the PO to win it all.
We will have a young team and a good mixed of vets so lots of fire and leadership in that room. Guys want to be here and play for the Habs and I'm all for that.
I agree with Jaybee. I don't see how anyone can OBJECTIVELY say that this team is better today than it was at the end of the playoffs.
Yes, a healthy Markov will help of course, but injuries are a part of the business and the #1 reason for our playoff success was traded for players that are not guaranteed to make an impact this year.

Plus we haven't improved at all in free agency.
what about Eller?
what about Subban?
what about Pouliot and Kostystyn who cannot possibly do worse??
I'm usually not a big proponent of the quebec thingy.
I mean, I don't care what language Eller speaks if he turns out to be better than David Perron for example.
However, TBay are really breaking my balls, cause we are talking about elite of the elite there... They ain't just Qc players, they are among the best Canadian players and among the best NHL players / staff members.
When all is said and done :
Julien Brisebois - asst GM
Guy Boucher - Head coach
1st line : xxx - Stamkos - St-Louis
2nd line : Gagné - Lecavalier - xxx
is there something we don't know? are they getting ready to move to Qc City?
I'm pretty sure Rejean Tremblay and the clueless guy who retired from Le Journal and is now working for RDS (Bertrand Raymond) would **** in their pants if it happened.

What's hilarious about jaybee is that he was whining during the year that we would have been a lot better had it not been for injuries we would have been a better team, someone actually showed us the post, not he's suddenly changed his view of team because Halak got traded.
