I sat there a few times in 1995 and I remember it was very difficult to see the nets. I am talking about the 3 sections directly behind the net. 417 is closer to the corner, so it is a little better.

Section 220?

Anyone ever sit in Section 220? I just upgraded to that section, found the ticket liaison (whatever you call them) to be less than helpful as expected. I will be in Row A, should have the bar in front of me, aisle seats.

I will have games available too if anyone is interested.

I had season tickets in Section 220 from the lockout-2008. Some of the best seats in the building and row A is great. I moved to the 400's after my seats went from $50/seat to $110 (what you are paying now). The idea that they more than doubled the price of tickets, 4 yrs after the lockout they claimed was necessary to keep ticket prices down, was too much for me. If they'd put them back at $80 where they belong, I'd move back. You're going to have a difficult time selling games for face unless you do it well in advance. I have friends in the section that really got hurt on re-sales last yr...

Thanks, I realize with the offseason and the economy and the team management and Bettman hating the NYR's we are gonna have a tough year (record and resale wise...). I have about 1/4 of the season presold to friends so I should be ok, steep but I'm ok with that if the seats have a good vantage point.

Thanks, made this day a little bit better.

I think resale will be good this year, considering no one would buy from TM with the current prices. I know my 56.00 seats will be in high demand, since they are nearly at center ice.

Not sure about that. By this time, I am usually turning people away telling them everything is sold, but if someone flakes out on me or I decide to sell a few more, I will let you know. We will see what happens.

I'm usually at every game anyway so it doesn't matter that much to me

opening night. not even close.

If I had to make a guess,

1) Opening night
2) Friday Night against the Isles in early december
3) isles game after Xmas.

Chicago would be down below most of the division games mixed in with toronto and montreal

I really wish a mod could sticky it. Seems worthy of one.

Minis and partial plans won't be available until they get through with the season packages. I would say early September, before the public on-sale for individual tickets.

2 points

1) The bloom is of the Rangers rose...many season ticket holders have decided not to pay major league prices for a middle of the road team....demand is now where it was before the strike started and Jagr and Shanahan joined the team

2) The Garden and MSG network have spent so much time kissing Knicks butt they have just about forgotten about the Rangers....there is little Rangers programming but the knicks are on just about every day...the PR snow job about potentially getting Lebron worked as the Knicks season tickets are completely sold out..who would have thought..will the Knicks even make the playoffs ..now maybe the Garden can now fix the Rangers mess which to me can be compared to the Mets fiasco

I was wondering how people made out in getting tickets as first time STH. Did anybody get 300,s or 400,s. A co-worker of mine called last Thursday after being told that was the day to call and was told that If you ever purchased tickets from the Rangers or on ticketexchange you would have priority.

I have no interest in paying twice as much as blackhawks STH holders pay to watch their team play.

I'll buy a few games over the course of the season that I want to go to and that's it.

Blackhawks ticket prices went up 20% to put them in the top 10 in the league in terms of ticket prices so fret no more:
