Trade with anaheim(cap issues)

I come in peace.

I have noticed that with the signing of kovy you guys will be 6 mill under this years cap and next year will only have 12 players signed with 7 mil in cap space and much, if not all, of that 7 mil with be to sign parise.

Now I introduce the Anaheim Ducks to you. We have about 7 mil in cap space left after the impending(i hope) signings of Teemu and Ryan.

Most everybody already agreed that this is a great trade. So how about adding to it. I understand that the Devils cannot take back ANY salary so how about a trade for picks + prospects.

The Ducks need defenders or a #2 center. No wingers at all unless their name is Zach

offer away.

This should be in the "Who is being moved?" thread.

We don't have a #2 centre to trade, but as CWE says, we're willing to trade Salvador.

In "the" thread you say? There will be 4 to 6 more threads like this in the coming days. They breed like rabbits post big news.

You can take Salvador for some low picks. That's all it would take

As much as I like Sal, I'd give him away even just for future considerations.

Sounds good to me. I like Salvador but he's easily replaceable. If the Devils need to make these trades for cap space though, I'd rather they get prospects back instead of picks. They've already given up a second rounder next year so I think picking up a couple of guys already drafted and closer to being "NHL ready" is better than picking up mid level draft picks.

I'd rather get picks. We're flush with near-NHL ready talent. I'd rather buffer the future some.

Salvador for a middling prospect or low pick would be fine by me.

The 'stache would be clean shaven from September-April.

Welcome to training camp, gentlemen. As our first order of business, please proceed to your left for the full body shave.

Not you, Tedenby. You're fine.
