I would say the prospect camp elevated Ellis over Josi right now, but just by a hair.

1. Wilson
2. Blum
3. Pickard
4. Ellis
5. Josi
6. Watson
7. Budish

All 7 have a great chance at killing it at the NHL level as well IMO. Outside of those 7, there is not a ton of depth with big NHL potential.

I would add Taylor Beck to your list. Klasen doesn't seem like much of a reach either. Rask and Cehlin have outside chances as well. What about Roussel too?

I was pretty impressed with camp this year. No one really stood out but it didn't seemed like anyone really just sucked either. It either means all these guys are incredibly average or we've got some pretty good guys in the system. The last few years I think Fenton and company have done very well with their scouting. Lindback and Engren didn't look too shabby either.

I rate both Ellis and Josi above Blum, personally...and are Colin Wilson\Cody Franson really prospects, at this point?

I'd suggest a run-off vote between Ellis and Josi for third and fourth place. No one else has gotten votes and with the number of Josi supporters posting, I believe it can be argued that if he were on the original ballot, he might have as many, if not more votes than Ellis at this time...

Id put Josi at #2 above Blum. Its odd to me that people always say blum will be our first call up when the coaching staff has been raving about Josi for some time now.

Josi, Ellis and Blum all have superstar potential IMO. Key word - "potential"

I still see Blum as the first call up guy, I could also see Josi and Blum both as fulltimer NHLers by seasons end. Poile knew if he let Hamhuis walk, he had alot more of that coming through the system!
