This kid has to be unreal...... he just won player of the week in the Q and had 9 points in 4 games.....he is a couple years away from being draft eligable and he has greatness written all over him....RUmpy
Averaging 2 pts per game thus far, as a 16 year old is quite impressive.
Nobody seems to be talking much about his size, which obviously means that his talent level is way high or they'd be all over it.
He's strong though. He's a young 16 year old who's expected to grow still, as his father and mother are both tall. Just look at Brent Burns to see how players can have growth spurts (went from 5'9 to 6'4 in the year before being drafted).
But more than that he is a strong player, who uses his strength to his advantage. He protects the puck very well, and has the speed to drive to the outside. He is still a kid. Its a kid dominating against young men essentially. His height isn't great right now, but it won't hold him back even if he doesn't grow, and I think he will.
