You people really don't know who Randy Cunneyworth is? Are people really that young on this site or am I old?

As for his coaching, his AHL resume looks pretty good.

There's a blast from the past. Don't know much about him as a coach, but he was a tough, hard working player when he was in the NHL.

Not a bad hire, I guess. His record in the AHL seems good enough.

You forget that there's also the issue that some people don't know anyone but the 25 Habs players.

Seriously? You guys don't remember Randy Cunneyworth? He's been around for a long time, and his playing days weren't even that long ago. Tough as nails player, leader all the way and I've basically only heard good things about his coaching. I know he had success in Rochester and translated that into an NHL job with Atlanta. This looks like probably his last step before he makes the jump as head coach in the NHL, so you know he'll be more than committed. Remembering him as a player, I'd have no doubts about him anyways. Good signing.

Like the hire and what I've read of Cunneyworth as a coach.

I suddenly feel very old given several around here have never heard of him and I remember him as a player.

I'm willin' to bet the bank that he'll never be coach for the Canadiens

He'll replace Muller in 2 years as assistant

The guy only stopped playing 10 years ago, are there posters here that are 8 years old? If people here don't know who Randy is they should stop following hockey or buy an Almanac.

Laugh at the Habs. They lost their whole management group of the Bulldogs to Tampa.
