Hate the trade and the trader, don't hate the tradees (with a few exceptions).

Walker just needs to work out here or be a part of something else that let's us become a better team, otherwise its just another part of the list of Homer's screw ups.

I guess you suggested Carcillo be sent down this year too?

Yes, because even all of our dmen should be be snipers. I bet you were saying the same thing when Lappy got hit in the face, both times right?

We should get rid of Betts, Lappy, Carcillo, Coburn, and O'Donnell since they dont score.

Also, See below.

Way to take it way too serious and not actually read the op.

So Holmgren wanted Walker because he broke his finger?

I guess Gagne broke wrong finger this playoffs.

You guys really think Laviolette has nothing to do with the moves Holmgren is making this off-season? That's pretty hilarious.

I'm not saying he told him to trade Gagne, I'm just saying he definately wanted a third pairing capable of playing more than 3 minutes. I'm sure he has a hand in Leighton being back also.

A good GM doesn't only build the team to his image, he gives his coaches the tools he wants, simple as that.

I dont know if this has been posted or not yet so if it has, delete away.
Yeah that was his only moment of greatness as a Hawk

I was looking on YT but couldn't find the game highlight of the night he gave the puck away leading to 2 breakaways in a span of 4 minutes. Khabibulin stopped both only to have Walker accidently deflect a goal in to own net later that night

Seems like a good guy. Does that make the trade better? Obviously not. Does all the mindless *****ing and moaning reverse time? No.

I'm still trying to get you guys to protest for Holmgren to be fired outside Wachovia this year!!! Anybody fancy it?!

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I think with the firing of John Stevens last year, Holmgren is now clearly the guy in the organization with the bull's eye painted on him. The Flyers have changed the coach, made trades, signed free agents, etc....So, if they falter out of the gate, I really do think it's Holmgren's head that will be on the block this time.

No, because he's tough. Some good fights on youtube with guys like Orr and Boulton and some good bodychecks preceeding all the fights.

Who on here didn't complain that our D was too soft last year? Our lack of size was an issue, it's been resolved.

I don't hate Walker, just the cap hit on a team with no goalie. Even if you project Walker to play with Meszaros, then there was no need for O'Donnell...

When a 30 year-old player that has been on multiple teams has almost no fans to sing his praise then that's probably a good sign that he isn't a good player. I haven't heard one Blackhawk or Lightning fan say anything good about him.

As for the video highlight, well, you can find a highlight of just about any player in the league on youtube, no matter how crappy they may or may not be.
