I think Ryder is a guy who can pay off double, and no I wouldn't expect anything back. Ryder and a 2nd for a 7th, and then you can likely turn around and spin Ryder away for a 2nd at the trade deadline when some team needs a veteran who has proven he is a good playoff performer and can score goals.

Agreed...Atlanta is thin for scoring RWs- on the roster and in the system. Ryder could be very useful, but since Ramsay is the new ATL coach, it all depends on what he thinks.

White still has a role with ATL. He did put up over 70 points 2 seasons ago. He has taken on a smaller role and plays it well. Your stuck with Ryder, not a bad player just no one wants him for reasons not just cap space...He is with out a doubt the most streaky player in the NHL. goes weeks without scoring then scores 5 in 3 games...
