I don't think Carkner's going to get traded. His performance/salary ratio is pretty valuable to the Sens.

I still like Tony D's (Chicago fan) post from the Spezza/Chicago old bump, it's great reading these classics:

I doubt Ottawa would ever trade Spezza, but if a deal where to happen between Ottawa and Chicago involving Spezza, here's how I think it would work:

To Chicago:
Jason Spezza
Nick Folingo

To Ottawa:
Jonathan Toews
Nikolai Khabibulin
Duncan Keith
Chicago's 1st round pick in 2009 draft

Haha. If all it took for a team to trade for Foligno was an AHL goaltender who *might* make the NHL as a backup...every team would be doing it. lol.

Ottawa has no need for Crawford. He hasn't shown anything that Elliot & Lehner don't already do. On top of that Leclaire is young as well although I don't have full confidence in him.

Just simply no need for another average AHL tender on the depth chart especially not for an NHL level top nine forward.
