Frolov signs a 1-year, $3-millon deal with #NYRangers. Turned down four years, $20-mil from khl.

We now have a shot at some secondary scoring this year. Not to mention, 3 mil leaves plenty (over 5 mil) left to match a Staal offer sheet, if we had to.

To bring back an oldie;

Wade Redden, done in NY.

The fact that he turned down the KHLs better offer does say something about him. I like that.

I just heard that Frolov will get a little over $3m in New York. Can't confirm the exact amount.

Nice, cool with 3 million.........interested to see what Sather has up his sleeve next!

can we get a Centre in a deal?

Also can someone please clarify how much cap space is left?. I thought 9 million now 6 with this so resign Staal at say 4.5?

Willie Mitchell, Marc Savard or Mike Ribiero. Let's get it.

Yea proves the NHL is better than the KHL

I'm not Frolov's biggest fan but a 1 year 3mill deal is ok with me

Awesome. Moves like this make your team better, even in the long run.

A - Plays awesome, fits in, Rangers resign for more years.

B - Plays decent or awesome, Rangers flip at deadline for players they otherwise would not have access to.

C - Sucks, and are off the hook after this season.

Giddyup.

I'm scared to see the terms. Praying it's just 3 mil.

Solid signing...I feared a 5 year, $5 million per type of deal.

Love the money, kinda wish it was for 2 years... although, then I may be tempted to buy a jersey. With only a one year deal, I'll likely just pick up a t-shirt. ha ha.

Now, if we forget the individual salaries, we got a 2nd line LW for secondary scoring, a backup goalie and a goon for $5.4 Million.... That seems pretty good to me....
