Annual cancer fundraiser hockey game (in memory of Todd Davison) at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg on August 12th. Autograph alley from 4pm to 5:30pm. Richards/Cannon will be there, along with many Manitoba born NHLers (Toews, Helm, Barker, Schneider, Orr, Tootoo, Fehr, Penner, Zajac, Boyd, Dawes). I think Richie has played in this every summer since 2006. I haven't been to it yet - anyone going? Anyone been there before?
Great cause and an awesome chance to meet Richie and get an auto. Tickets $20+fees ($23.50 total).

I am thinking of going , they will most likely all hit Earl's on Main afterwards also. That is where I seen him last time.
I met Richards at Earls after that disastrous last place season. I also met Cote at Earls after a Phantoms game in 06... I also once saw Pat Falloon heading into Montana's! LOL. I am sure all those guys will hit Earls to "mingle" with the female fans.
BTW, any Winnipegers heading down to Minnesota for the pre-season game on Sat, Sept 25th? I am waiting for tickets to go on sale for that one... hoping to go. Any news on when tickets go on sale. I don't think I can make the mid-week trip for the regular season game.

2 years ago I golfed with Barker and we met them at Earls after to meet Richie and Cote and Holly were also there.

Barker had to leave before the golf dinner as he and Dawes were off to pick Richie up at the airport, so they texted me from Earls to come down and meet him. He, Dawes, Richie were surrounded by 20 ladies so I shook his hand, shot the **** for 30 seconds, and then chatted with Cote for the night.
