Penguins #6 prospect - RUNOFF

And another runoff vote. Bortuzzo and Johnson were exactly tied in the original poll. Open for 24 hours, winner is #6 and loser takes #7.

Either way Bort will rise at least 10 ranks compared to last year's poll.

Tied early on.

I got Bobby Bortz (now that's a nickname).

Another runoff? So exciting!

I voted for Johnson but I think Bort will take it based on nickname strength. Does Johnson even have one?

Does a Johnson really need one?

For some reason I don't see Johnson as anything more than a career AHLer. Nothing I saw while he was up last year made me take notice of him. Hope I'm wrong about him, but I've got to go with Bortuzzo here.

Went with Johnson. I think both players could be productive in limited roles but Johnson has the opportunity to address a bigger need and sooner. Bortz isn't a bad choice here though either. I think these are two similarily rated prospects.

Picked Bortuzzo originally, so picking him again. Big Bad Bortz has intriguing potential, and if he continues to display a mean streak to go with growing into his size, he could become a solid addition to our rotation in Pittsbugh to pair with the smaller guys like GoGo.

It's a close call. But went with Bortuzzo.

Stuck with Bortuzzo -- hard not to be impressed by his progress over the past year or so.

I don't believe Johnson's an NHL regular. He may get some games this season, but I still think he's a 8-10 minute 4th liner and probably not a career guy. Bortuzzo, though further away, I believe could be an NHL regular - especially if he continues on his current developmental trajectory.

Bort is a better nickname than Bortz IMO.

On a side note I hear that those Bort license plates are constantly going out of stock.

I'ts amazing how much Bortuzzo's fan support went up. I'm assuming it's because of all his penalty minutes and his fights. Or maybe the fact that Shero said he was not in trade discussions. What ever it was he really wasn't any better than Strait last season but he does like to mix it up. But I went with Johnson, what do I know?
