I don't see why he won't. Sturm, Ryder and Recchi most likely will be gone. That's ~ $9m.

i was more alluding to the idea that Wheeler might think he's worth more than the Bruins think he's worth. I realize they're under the gun cap-wise, but if it's a straight up low-ball they might have bumpy negotiations in a year, or he might just test the FA market.

wheeler is a player you invest nomore than a year or two when u are in need of a winger to play top 6 if one goes down.

They just re-signed Recchi at the beginning of the summer so I don't see him going anywhere. I agree with the other two guys though. Apparently Sturm will be on LTIR until December or so.
