It boggles my mind how Bartulis was voted as our second best prospect.

Went Legein. Do think that he has the talent to be a guy who can score goals, hit hard/agitate while playing on the 3rd line. He got wasted on a line with "I cant score goals" Nodl and "Having a real bad year" Ross

I love when I say something, get heavily criticized, and months later people are like..."oh."

Nothing against you because I don't think you were one of them, but I just find it funny.

As i said before, i agree with a good majority of what you say, you can say things that are seen as homerism, but most of what you say about the flyers is right.

While we may not have any budding superstars in our pool, we have a good chance to get 5-6 NHL regular players out of it.

G Sergei Bobrovsky (44.83%)
G Joacim Eriksson (67.74%)
D Kevin Marshall (20%)
D Oskars Bartulis (18.34%)
LW Pat Maroon (22.67%)
D Joonas Lehtivuori (29.31%)

Either one of the top 2 are going to make it to the NHL. Marshall should have a decent crack at eventually becoming a second pairing D, Bartulis would actually make a good second pairing D ,Maroon has the ability to become a second line forward, and joonas is in the same build as bartulis.

Maybe the chance at one star, the rest are roster fillers

I went with Nodl. He seems the most NHL ready. This 5th to about 10th group is pretty close though in my eyes.

I'd say add Propov or Riopel

As for our prospects in general we have a deep group with limited NHL potential. If we had 3 bluechippers and then garbage people would love our prospect. The reality is you won't have bluechippers without 1st and 2nd rounders somewhere in the system.
We need to quit trading them for Emminger.

This is pretty much it, but what you call fillers I call "complementary players":

Guaranteed fillers: Nodl, Bartulis

Potential NHL fillers: Eriksson, Bobrovsky, Marshall, Lehtivuori, Bourdon, Bertilsson, Gustafsson, Maroon, Testwuide, Wellwood, Legein, Pither

Potential NHL break-outs: Eriksson, Bobrovsky, Maroon, Pither, Lehtivuori, Gustafsson

Potential NHL stars: Eriksson, Bobrovsky

That's 14 players with some decent NHL potential.

You don't think Legein could be a potential NHL break out?

This. I don't see why these boards are so high on either one. They may be further along than others, but they have extremely limited upside. Isn't that a big part of what these prospect rankings are about?

I really don't see Nodl as a prospect anymore. At this point he seems like an AHL vet/NHL call-up-filler-type guy.
