Flyers fan since: As long as I can remember. When we won the cup the first time, I was 4. I had an eye problem and had to wear an eye patch on one of my lenses. My Mom painted the Flyers logo on it and one day soon after we won that first cup, she took me down to where a few of the Flyers were for an appearance. A few of them were able to initial it (the patch was tiny lol). Dave Shultz signed it and his name is the only one that you can barely make out.

hey mylec 22.......i honestly could tell the same exact story. i was 4, taking the train with my parents to see the cup in 74. i also rocked an eye patch over my left eye that my mom painted an orange flyers symbol on it!!!

A transplant from TN, I have adopted the Flyers as my hockey team since the 2004 playoffs. I had been only mildly interested in hockey until I married my wonderful wife, and then was thrown into the deep end of the Flyers fandom pool. She's been a diehard fan for more than 20 years, and her fervor swept me up.
I hope I can contribute to the hockey conversation as I continue to learn about the sport.

Flyers fan since: I would say somewhere around the age of 7-8?. My dad was watching a hockey game ( I didn't watch much I just wanted to play) The Habs (ugh) and Flyers were playing. I asked him who he was cheering for - THE HABS - so NATURALLY, I picked the other team, the Flyers. NEVER had a clue what they were all about at that age but I can tell you I am glad I picked a team such as them. They breathe work-ethic and passion!

Flyers fan since: 5 or 6. I started watching the Flyers in Kindergarten. Then started playing organized foot hockey and went to my first Flyers game in 1st grade. They played the Oilers. I still have the ticket. $24.95 four rows from the ice.
