I do agree with Irish though. Relax. It will get played. It is just pushed back alittle. Im past getting worked up over the game. It is what it is... a game. Trophy Manager is in Season 20 and still has bugs that happen. As time goes on TH will be fine. Once they release the pro teams and FA, people will start to forget all about the bugs. They will get fixed.
Yea I just went back I think I miss understood the comment.

But c'mon free agency I have 13 mil to spend.

But only like 4 wins on the year.

I'll ***** if I want. I'm a very demanding customer, and these dudes should know that you don't just let something like that go all day, regardless of if it's your day off or not. Log on, restart the ME, and then look at the data tomorrow.

Anyways, yesterdays game was completely skipped for me, won today though, 7-3. One of my third liners had a hatty!

I think my question may have been overlooked as everyone reacted to the freeze in TH's activity yesterday. I can say that I typically receive response here quicker than I can find answers to my TH questions on their forum.

With that said, I ask again. Can someone explain the ME to me? Or, at least, lead me to a link with some information.

I understand, in general, that the ME runs through the countries, in alphabetical order based on abbreviations, executing the simulations. But, yet, I feel like I am missing something. At the very least, I would love to know what "ME" stands for.

I really appreciate the help available here. Thanks for pointing me to this game. Despite its faults, its been enjoyable.

Me = Match Emulator. The thing that actually determines outcomes of games... systematically simulates every matchup in TH.

Perfect. One additional question:

I am finding that other updates, such as statistics, standings, league leaders, etc, are not synchronized with the ME. Is there any sense to the schedule for when these are updated?

Thanks again.

My comment was not intended for xchris at all. It was intended for others. Sorry if it wasn't clear.

My team moved in to first place in my division. Beat another division leader with my rookie backup in goal. We have been on fire... pretty much since I took over, which I am going to contribute mostly to coincidence. Offense is hitting, defense is strong, and my goalie has posted the most shutouts in the league.

I feel like my team is pretty stacked, especially for a low division.

Feel free to check it out - hopefully, the link works. http://trophyhockey.org/clubhouse.php?id=6750

I finally managed to trade Brinkmann (appallingly low stamina).

I got:

http://trophyhockey.org/player.php?id=84508

for:

http://trophyhockey.org/player.php?id=86158

While it may look like he got the better player, my team is suffering from lower stamina and at the end of a regular game, even playing reduced time, he's at 60% fitness or worse.

The center is 1 year older, but 30+ point improvement in stamina as well as an ace at face offs.

I think I did pretty well, considering it took about 20 attempts at trades just to get him hah.

Thanks.

Since I didn't know I had the option at the time, I didn't exactly pick this team. Just accepted the position the game sort of assigned to me when I joined. Worked out well, though. The existing talent on the team has made the learning curve a little less steep, that's for sure.

Won both my games, 7-0 and 2-0.

Like the bounce back from my 21 yr old goalie after letting in 13 goals in 2 games.

Is there anyway to trade more than 1 player in a single deal?

I often get offers for my goalie, who's overall rated 80 and his reflexes, handling and recovery are in the 90's, but there is no way I'd let him go just for 1 player, I'd want 2 promising youngsters or 1 and cash etc.

Is this possible or planned for the future?

All down the road, my friend, all down the road.

1 for 1 swaps is all that's allowed right now.

As much as one for one trades are lame and gay and unrealistic and etc, I cant really see large deals ever happening in this game.

It could get way too unbalance. The trading system, though flawed, I believe is the best way for this game.... maybe.

Just look at the Dallas Bows in 1.1

It's pretty much impossible to rebuild in this game isn't it?

I think it's been mentioned on here that drafting was better in the American leagues than it is now. There are 20 goalies in my draft. I've scouted 10 of them so far. Only one of them has reflexes above 50, he has 87. I'm kind of screwed because I have a few players retiring and, I probably won't be able to draft anyone good to replace them.

2.1 is competitive. Start trading and playing young players...like Kent!

Our draft has a few (like 3) solid players. Try to stay in 2.1 and grab them.

Since the chances of me grabbing them are slim. One of them are Dennis Tarnell. He's a 18 yr old, 62 avg sar 5, lw.

Id also trade Hernandez. He is young but has 0 offensive abilities. Try to grab another young player but with good abilities. Some people will bite.

EDIT: You need to rework your lines. Davis shouldnt be 2nd line center, and Hernandez shouldnt even play center. Move Perry to 2nd line center.

Make ur top line:

Hall-Gurevich-Squires
Clapp-Perry-Souza
Salas-Roads-Morgan
Hernandez-Davis-Moneypenny

Put your 3rd and 4th lines to balance, and maybe your 4th to defensive. Your getting WAY to many shots on you. Your goalie has no chance. Change your top line to dump and chance.

Two trades I got offered. I think I'll reject the one for Barratt, he's the youngest good forward I have, and I have pretty good top 5 despite defense men despite them being older. The other one is somewhat more interesting because I need RWingers, but he isn't as talented as Slaughter offensively or defensively. I'm thinking I'll reject both but, I think it is kind of fun to get others' opinions.

Lost 4-3 in a SO. First OTL all season.
second L in a row, not sure whats going on. I was kicking ass before, and then I upgrade my head coach a ton, and then I start losing against average teams.
