I <3 Forsberg. Me and Harv, we don't give a **** what you think, we want him back. He's instantly be our most talented player and would fill out the top 9 nicely, finally getting Carcillo out.

I just fail to see why you guys are crying about it.
Forsberg loves to play and will try to play for as long as he can. Where's the harm in that?
Where's the harm in signing him for cheap at the deadline and hope for the best? It's not like he'd be our #1 center anymore, he probably wouldn't even play center at all. And let's not forget he'd be a great mentor for giroux and other young players on this team. He has the purest winner mentality I've ever seen. Everyone's praising Lappy for coming back after getting hit in the head with pucks, saying how that will boost the morale. But I'll tell ya, seeing forsberg on the ice will too.

Only if he plays for another team before going to the NHL. He'd definatly get to practice with modo and get to play some minor tournaments with Tre Kronor. He'd get some 20games before the playoffs to warm up and then go full out when it matters.

Or did they change those rules?
Think i heard he'd only be waiver eligible if he played for a eu team before signing with an nhl team?

Yeah, but if Forsberg wasn't going to sign until mid-season, what do you assume he would be doing? Chilling?

Selling some crocs?

What is he doing now? I don't know, but he aint playing pro hockey.
What was Sundin doing before he signed with nucks? Playing poker.
Chilling would probably do forsberg more good than harm, having time to get into shape, heal and rest. He'd be a star come february!

Why the hell would we sign Niemi and let all the good Huet out there go to waste? Goalies with that skill and low cap hit don't often fall into your lap, you know.

There is something seriously wrong with anyone who wants to bring Forsberg back. Wickedly injury prone and past his prime is not the description of any player I want on my team.

I dont see the problem if he is taking up less than a million of cap space.

If you have the room, he will be effective even if it is only for 25 games a year.

That said, we dont have the room, so we dont need him.

Although if we didnt sign Shelley........

I could handle a Forsberg - Giroux - Briere...Really I think Foppa could fit in anywhere in the top 3 lines
