Quick Question

Hey guys I'mnew here and wondering why I can't post in the Trade Rumors thread. For some reason it says I'm not permitted

I would like to post there now... Is there a certain amount of posts of time membership with the site until you can post there?

Thanks,
Chester

New posters don't have that privilege so they don't spam the main forum. Don't worry though, in a few weeks, you can start spamming ridiculous trade offers like Vitto and NYR2417 do. Lop-sided ones that somehow fail to improve either team.

Just for kicks, what did you want to post there?

**ROOKIE POSTERS**

Will have to wait 45 days from the time they have registered before they are allowed to start a thread on this board.

There it is.

This is why you're here, Ogie.

This was your purpose in life.

A trade proposal but something that isnt lopsided

Callahan, Rozsival, Anisimov, 2nd round pick for Brad Richards and Stephane Robidas

Richards is a UFA next July.
Robidas is 33 years old, signed until 2014.

We'll be taking on over 3M in salary with this swap. That's not including Callahan's replacement either. Wouldn't work from a salary perspective.

Why not:

Keep Cally and Arty, move Rozsival for picks/prospects/expiring contract, and target Richards next summer? Keep our valuable assets like Cally and Arty.

I guess I'm not a big fan of moving young guys who haven't reached their ceiling, for a soon-to-be UFA.

that sounds like a great deal for Dallas

better to keep Callahan and Anisimov and the pick, and move Rozi for something, then use the cap space along with the WADE playing in the AHL or dumping Drury at the deadline to sign a UFA next year
