Mount Puckmore: Four faces of Devils?

Puck Daddy (Yahoo!) is doing this for all 30 teams, and I thought I'd throw it up here before he got to the Devils. Who are your four faces of the franchise? He says players, coaches, and executives are eligible.

Marty
Stevens
Lou
MacLean

Lou is the Devils, so you'd think he has to be there, but then what a fight for the fourth spot. I'm giving it to Mac because he's still the second-leading scorer all-time and has finally made it to the top step behind the bench. But there are others. Niedermayer or Dano? Elias over MacLean? Any love for Captain Kirk? Who do you think they go with, and who do you think should be there if you disagree?

McMullen. He was why the team was in NJ, and the man who brought in Lou.

I think almost everybody is in agreement about those three.

The fourth I'd give to Elias. He is the point leader in franchise history, he has a reputation for clutch performance (tied for OT goals record, large number of playoff points), he was an important part of two Cup teams, he was the engine of two of the best lines in franchise history (A-line and EGG line), he has been a long-time letter wearer (both C and A), and he has been a loyal lifetime Devil (so far).

While nobody can disagree that this is true, I'm not sure many outside of Devils fans know who he is.

So? No one outside America probably knows all four of the American heroes on Rushmore...

Marty, #4, Lou, and MacLean because he was a Devils great and now the coach which puts him ahead of everyone else not mentioned.

Obviously Marty, Stevens, and Lou. A good case can be made for MacLean and Daneyko, but I've got to go with McMullen.

Marty, Stevens, Lou, and Daneyko.

Surprised Dano is being left out by many so far. 20 years playing for the organization, 3 Stanley Cups, and has his number retired.

I also would vote Marty, Lou, Stevens, and Daneyko, in no particular order.

I went with Lou, Stevens, Marty, and Dano. Obviously, the first three are 100% locks, while cases could be made for a few others to be represented with the fourth face.

I think a better question would be who's Washington, who's Jefferson, who's T. Roosevelt, and who's Lincoln.

Washington = Lou
Jefferson = Dano, Maclean, Elias?
TR = Stevens
Lincoln = Marty

I didn't put them in any order, if I were to match them up with a President on Rushmore I would go:
Washington-Lou
Jefferson-Stevens
Lincoln-Marty
Roosevelt-Dano

Disagree.

Stevens did far more for this club than Nied-my-brother.

Marty-Stevens-Lou

My tossup for the 4th was with Daneyko, Elias and Maclean.

I want to put Elias because of his being the points leader. But I went with Maclean because he was more part of the building of the franchise.

Marty, Stevens, Lou, and McMullen

For craps and giggles if it had to be just players I'll go with Daneyko and Elias barely edging out Neidermayer.

For me it is Stevens, Lamoriello, Brodeur and Elias. This specific list reflects mostly on the time period that I have been a Devils fan.
