good deal all around. league min salary means that he is up at the front of the line on the Worcester Shuttle and gets him a better chance to play for the big club. And it also basically says that this is put up or shut up time for Joslin, and he needs to have a good year to stick with the organization.

That has nothing to do with indicting all 23 year old players. It has everything to do with you being no different than the people who hastily judge people when they're still in development.
It was more in reference to your previous post.

I'll pass on withholding judgement on specific players before the end of some nebulous NHL development period.

Your sarcasm leads me to believe that you've judged anyway and think that he's as good, or not as the case may be, as he's going to get...which isn't enough for you. It's just funny that you're basing this off of the 36 games you might've seen over the last two years.

Maybe if you weren't so hung up on 23 and instead what it is referencing and that's the fact that he's young and still has room to grow...which should be a given when you say the age...you wouldn't be so sarcastic about it.

I like the signing. Joslin will have a good year. From what I've seen joslin will be an NHLer.

True. I think this is a decent re-sign. Some liked the Leach signing due to dollars so, they can't state this isn't at least a better move than that! At least with Joslin we actually have a youth player with potential. With Leach.......... This year for certain, both will see the shuttle bus more than any form of regularity on the big squad that is for sure. But again, at least with Joslin, their is youth and potential.

I would have been completely fine using Joslin as a #5/#6 and not paying the Hamburglar 2.5

Damn gentleman's agreement.

Maybe Doug is arranging for Wallin to have an "accident" to resolve the issue

"I said I'd give you a contract, no where did I promise not to break your legs..."

seriously though, what a mess. Why he was ever acquired in the first place... Doug is not allowed to make trade deadline deals anymore, he's freaking terrible.
